Eco School      

At Roberttown C of E Primary, we are proud to be an Eco School, working with pupils and families to build everyday habits that care for our local environment. Our approach is practical and age-appropriate, helping children understand how their choices at school and at home can reduce waste, save energy and protect the natural world.

Eco School activities are woven into learning across the curriculum, so children can explore topics such as recycling, water use, biodiversity and sustainable living in a meaningful way. Through school projects, classroom discussions and pupil-led initiatives, we encourage children to ask questions, take responsibility and develop the confidence to make positive changes.

We warmly invite parents and carers to join us by supporting eco-friendly routines at home, such as sorting recycling correctly, reducing single-use plastics and conserving energy. Together, we can reinforce these messages and ensure our children leave primary school with the knowledge, skills and motivation to make a difference for their community and the wider planet.
