I am thrilled to be able to share the report from our recent Ofsted inspection (25th - 24th June 2024). The report celebrates our children 'living by our school values', their 'love of reading', and how in 'early years they get off to a good start'. Please click on the following links to read:

Headteachers Welcome

I would like to warmly welcome you to Roberttown C of E Junior and Infants School. I am extremely proud to be the school’s Headteacher and I am keen to take the school on the next stage of it’s exciting journey of improvement and excellence.

We believe that children deserve the best possible chances in life and that they learn best when there are strong links between home and school. Everything we do at Roberttown helps us to deliver our school mission of ‘Good Samaritans who inspire excellence in God’s World’. Success to us at Roberttown means both academic and personal progress. It also means promoting an inclusive school culture, nurturing staff-pupil relationships and promoting the values that underpin our school – values of friendship, endurance, forgiveness, peace, thankfulness and trust. Our schools ethos is centred around positive behaviour management strategies with staff applying a fair and consistent approach. We endeavour to provide a calm and stimulating environment where good behaviour and mutual respect is modelled by everyone and where everyone is valued. We aim to ensure that our children leave Roberttown fully prepared for Secondary school and beyond with the solid foundation of skills, knowledge and values they will need to become happy and responsible future citizens of the world! As a church school, we have close links with our local church, All Saints’, and we are committed to fostering and encouraging Christian principles and values. We are proud to be a church school, but we are equally proud that we welcome into our school family children from all faiths or none.

We work hard to continually improve and to give our pupils the best start in their education. Our SATs results in July 2024 show that our pupils have performed well above the Local Authority and national average, which we are extremely proud of!

We pride ourselves on working in partnership with parents and families as we know that a child’s primary school years represent a very special journey – we’re here throughout to celebrate their successes, solve problems and provide high quality education.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our school site, should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact a member of our team.

We hope that our website will give you all the information you require- either as a parent with a child already in our school or perhaps as a prospective parent looking to choose a school for your child.

Roberttown CE (vc) J&I School is a Church of England voluntary controlled school. We have 238 children in eight classes. We have an on-site Breakfast Club and After School Club each day and offer a range of extra-curricular activities.

Looking to the future…
The governing body, with the support of the diocese, All Saints’ Roberttown and the Parish Church Council, have taken the decision to apply to the Department for Education to become part of the Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust. The application process takes some time and we will keep you updated with our progress.
In the meantime, we have become associate members of Learning Accord Multi Academy Trust. We are delighted to be part of a growing trust with a clear vision of Partnership Promoting Excellence and a clear focus on supporting schools.
